OHIO: The Start of it All

Celebrate children's book illustrations related to the great state of Ohio.

Curated by Dan Chudzinski of the University of Findlay's Mazza Museum, the exhibition features 60 original children's book illustrations from the museum. Celebrate children’s book illustrations related to the great state of Ohio based on people, places, inventions, and more.

The University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum is the most diverse collection of original artwork by children’s book illustrators in the world. The museum’s goal is to promote literacy and enrich the lives of all people through the art of picture books.

Daily hands-on activity for children and adults.


Curator's Tour | Friday, July 28, 2017, noon - 1 p.m.

Dan Chudzinski will lead an in-depth tour of the exhibition and discuss the collection.

 

Reception | Saturday, July 29, 2017, 1 – 3 p.m. 

Enjoy light refreshments, a hands-on activity, and live music by Andicus and Christopher Swanson.
