Scholarship opportunity available to conference attendees for personal and professional investment.
Become a change agent in your community, school, or organization!
Conference attendees are invited to apply to attend the nationally-renowned SAVVY Arts Venture Challenge (SAVVY), an interdisciplinary arts boot camp to transform communities through a six-day professional development engagement lasting June 1–7, 2019 in Columbia, South Carolina.
SAVVY is a revolutionary professional development workshop that teaches participants to become better entrepreneurs, collaborators, community pillars, and dreamers. Whether hoping to boost your reputation, earn more money, transform an institution, or just get more done, SAVVY will prove pivotal for your career and personal development.
How it Works
- After registering for the conference, interested applicants will submit a brief written application, including a short bio, via the OAC website (details on how to do this provided following registration). Only applicants able to represent Ohio at the June 1–7, 2019 workshop in Columbia, SC should apply. Deadline to apply is Friday, November 2.
- Through a cooperative agreement between SAVVY and the OAC, up to six individuals will be selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship to cover full tuition plus supplies, housing, as well as attendance at SAVVY’s “Bonus Day: SAVVY-U” (participants must cover their own travel expenses to the conference). A general overview of the day-by-day schedule can be found here.
- Winners will be announced live at the closing event of the Arts Impact Ohio 2018 conference on December 6th!
