Ohio Statehouse Holocaust Memorial Artist Selection Committee Meeting

Members of the Ohio Statehouse Holocaust Memorial Artist Selection Committee will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. The meeting will begin with a tour of the memorial site at 9:00 a.m. with the committee beginning discussion of the project at 9:30 a.m. in the Ohio Statehouse, State Room (room 108). The Selection Committee will meet with the three semi-finalists, Ann Hamilton, Jaume Plensa and Daniel Libeskind, to discuss the Ohio Statehouse Holocaust Memorial design plans. The artists will also tour the statehouse. This meeting is open to the public and is scheduled to adjourn by 1:00 p.m.

National Endowment for the Arts announced 66 Our Town grants totaling $5.07 million to organizations in 38 states. Two of this year's Our Town grant recipients are Ohio organizations L.A.N.D. studio, Inc. (Cleveland) and the Westcott House Foundation (Springfield).
