In partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation, the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) supports Poetry Out Loud. Ohio Poetry Out Loud is developing a regional structure with partners who will coordinate the program in their respective regions beginning in 2016.

Ohioana Library is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and promoting the written work of Ohio's writers, artists, and musicians. Thurber House is a non-profit literary center for readers and writers located in the historic former home of author, humorist, and New Yorker cartoonist James Thurber.
