Ohio Arts Council’s International Program
From its beginning in 1989, the Ohio Arts Council’s International Program has developed arts partnerships among academic and cultural arts institutions and artists in numerous countries. The program supports innovative initiatives that use a variety of means, including education, exhibitions, artist exchanges, performances and informational resources, to develop international arts exchanges within communities.
The International Program is committed to bringing together individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds in a shared effort to develop understanding of each other's cultures. The Ohio Arts Council believes the arts create community. Through the arts, individuals can explore similarities, as well as differences between cultures. To understand each other’s culture is to respect one another.

and organized by the Ohio Arts Council from 1990-present. This information is
for archive purposes only and contact information is not updated, therefore it
is not included in the search results. If you would like additional information
about a specific project please contact the OAC's Public
Information Office and include the project title and dates.
Search is easiest and will return the most relevant records
if limited to specific parameters. Entering no search parameters will return
all records. Unless entering a specific date, all other search parameters return

Due to the implementation of cost savings days (furloughs) by the State of Ohio, the OAC office will be closed on the following days: Friday, November 27; Thursday, December 24; and Thursday, December 31.
