Ohio Creative Writers
Welcome to the Ohio Creative Writers Directory. The directory
includes information about more than 450 fiction and nonfiction writers, playwrights,
and poets who reside in 55 Ohio counties and is updated annually. Discover writers
who live in your community by searching by county or city. If you are interested
in writers of a particular genre, you may search by the primary discipline list,
or you may search by name if attempting to locate a specific individual.

download the Creative Writers
Directory PDF form and return it via mail to: Individual Artist Grant Programs and Services Office,
Creative Writers Directory, 727 E. Main Street, Columbus OH 43205-1796.
Search is easiest and will return the most relevant records if limited to specific parameters. Entering no search parameters will return all records.

The Columbus Metropolitan Library, Ohio Arts Council and Friends of the Library have once again partnered to bring arts opportunities to artists and the public by presenting a juried art show at the Columbus Metropolitan Library Main Library. In 1998 the two organizations collaborated to create the Ohio Online Visual Artist Registry (OOVAR), a database that showcases the work of more than 700 artists from Ohio and around the world.
