Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has reappointed Susan Allan Block of Toledo, Juan Cespedes of Columbus, and William B. White of Marietta to the Ohio Arts Council board for terms ending July 1, 2024.

Ohio Women Vote: Artist Commemorates Ohio’s Role in Ratifying the 19th Amendment with Stripe for Her Flag

Lindsay Dale-Scott, an Ohio illustrator and designer, designed a stripe to be sewn onto an 18-foot-by-26-foot flag commemorating the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment. Her stripe was  added to the flag at a July 21 public performance in Columbus.

Fiber Arts in the Ohio Arts Council's Riffe Gallery

The Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery will open its newest exhibition, Thread Count: The Intersection of Mathematics and Fiber Arts, on Thursday, May 2. This exhibition features work by 13 contemporary fiber artists from the state of Ohio. These artists have created work featuring a variety of materials, shapes, and sizes.
