Winners Announced for 2019 Biennial Juried Exhibition

Four exhibition awards were announced at the opening reception of the Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery’s current show, the 2019 Biennial Juried Exhibition. The recipients of three Juror’s Choice Awards and one Best of Show Award were honored at the Nov. 10 event.

Albert Paley Sculpture Dedicated on University of Cincinnati Campus

Albert Paley’s “Progression,” a 44-foot-wide landscape sculpture, has a new home, moving from Midtown Manhattan to a Midwestern campus to settle in front of the University of Cincinnati’s Health Sciences Building. The piece was commissioned as part of Ohio's Percent for Art program, which supports the acquisition, commissioning, and installation of artwork for new or renovated public buildings.

Exhibition Shows Important Issues Seen Through Students’ Lenses

Focusing on a theme of contemporary civil rights issues, selected photos by 30 students enrolled in film photography programs in Cleveland and Cincinnati were installed in the Ohio Civil Rights Commission office in the Rhodes State Office Tower.
