2020 Governor’s Awards for the Arts Winners Announced

Eight winners have been selected to receive awards at the 2020 Governor’s Awards for the Arts in Ohio, the State of Ohio’s most prestigious annual arts event.
More than 400 students in kindergarten through fifth grade took part in residency activities. With the help of Lynda Elias and Virginia Corwin of Delaware Mosaics, students transformed the school's entryway into a glittering gallery of decorated pillars featuring cuddly creatures and inspirational affirmations. Third Biennial Juried Exhibition on View at the OAC Riffe Gallery

The 2019 Biennial Juried Exhibition is the third in a series of biennial juried exhibitions put on display at the Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery. The show occurs Nov. 7, 2019 – Jan. 10, 2020 and features a variety of workshops and artist talks. Artists in the show come from 18 counties across the state of Ohio, from Montgomery to Lucas, Muskingum to Cuyahoga.

38 Ohio Artists Featured in Statewide Juried Exhibition at the Columbus Main Library

The talents of 38 Ohio artists will be on view at the 13th Annual Ohio Online Visual Artist Registry (OOVAR) Juried Exhibition, Jan. 16 - Feb. 29, at the Columbus Metropolitan Main Library’s Carnegie Gallery (96 S. Grant Ave., Second Floor).

Local Artist Installs Illuminated Piece in BGSU’s Moseley Hall

Bowling Green-based artist Erwin Redl is drawn to patterns and systems, which is just what he brought to "Shadows," BGSU's newest Percent for Art installation. Through programmed LED lights placed on a static brick wall, Redl turns the stark white stairwells of Moseley Hall into a constantly shifting canvas.
