Local Artist Installs Illuminated Piece in BGSU’s Moseley Hall

Bowling Green-based artist Erwin Redl is drawn to patterns and systems, which is just what he brought to "Shadows," BGSU's newest Percent for Art installation. Through programmed LED lights placed on a static brick wall, Redl turns the stark white stairwells of Moseley Hall into a constantly shifting canvas.

Fiber Arts in the Ohio Arts Council's Riffe Gallery

The Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery will open its newest exhibition, Thread Count: The Intersection of Mathematics and Fiber Arts, on Thursday, May 2. This exhibition features work by 13 contemporary fiber artists from the state of Ohio. These artists have created work featuring a variety of materials, shapes, and sizes.

Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery Opens Women to Watch Ohio - 2018 through July 7

Women to Watch Ohio - 2018, on view at the Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery, was organized in partnership with the Ohio Advisory Group of the National Museum of Women in the Arts. This exhibition, curated by Ann Bremner and Matt Distel, features 10 Ohio women artists who work in metal.
