28 Teaching Artists Accepted for Newly Launched Ohio Intensive Creative Aging Training Initiative

Twenty-eight Ohio teaching artists have been selected to take part in the Ohio Intensive Creative Aging Training Initiative, which focuses on bringing artmaking experiences to older adults in Ohio and will be administered by the Ohio Arts Council.

Ohio Arts Council Secures New Funding for Creative Aging

The Ohio Arts Council is one of 36 state arts agencies receiving awards from the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies and Aroha Philanthropies. With this funding, each state will conduct creative aging activities tailored to the unique needs of its constituents. Activities will include providing professional development for teaching artists and providing direct programming to older adult audiences.
