As if fundraising for a multi-million-dollar capital campaign during a pandemic wasn't hard enough, Marysville's Avalon Theatre was forced to show its resilience when part of its structure crumbled one night in June 2020. Rising from the dust of the collapse, construction has resumed, and the theatre has set its sights on an August 2021 grand opening.
