Her new term began Jan. 1, 2022. As part of her first term as laureate, Gunter-Seymour made nearly 150 engagements, both virtually and in-person across Ohio, to share the art of poetry with a variety of audiences—from school-aged children, to individuals who are incarcerated or in recovery.
