Curated by Dominique H. Vasseur, curator of European Art at the Columbus Museum of Art, the exhibition offers viewers a unique glimpse into the legacy of Ohio arts by highlighting the work of 12 painters who teach in Ohio institutions of higher education. As educators, these artists provide the link between the present and the future of art in Ohio.

Featured artists include (educational institution and hometown noted) Louise Captein (Otterbein University, Galena), Valerie Escobedo (University of Findlay, Findlay), Craig Lloyd (College of Mount St. Joseph, Cincinnati), Marina Mangubi (College of Wooster, Wooster), Penny Park (Wright State University, Dayton), Darice Polo (Kent State University, Cleveland Heights), Jolene Powell (Marietta College, Marietta), Robert Robbins (Columbus College of Art & Design, Westerville), Dana Saulnier (Miami University, Oxford), John Yan Sun (Muskingum University, Zanesville), Edward E. Valentine (The Ohio State University-Lima, Delaware), and Paige Williams (Art Academy of Cincinnati, Cincinnati).
