Show Your Support

FOR GRANTEES/AWARDEES: As part of your grant contract with the state, you are required to credit the OAC as a funder in your promotional and educational materials (both online and in print) and—if applicable—provide written and verbal credit. The requirements differ depending on the type of grant you receive. Your OAC grant is an investment of public tax dollars, so we encourage you to inform the media and your legislators about the value of these dollars, tell your story, and use this opportunity to alert your community to this award. Contact the OAC's Communications Office for more information about logo compliance and branding guidelines.

Logo Use for Organizational Grantees

All organizations that receive public funding from the Ohio Arts Council are required to show their support in promotional materials. Failure to use the Ohio Arts Council logo as specified in the grant agreement may result in the rescission of your grant. Compliance will be considered during the assessment of future OAC grant applications. Grantees should download and save the OAC's logo and begin applying it digitally with a link to oac.ohio.gov as soon as possible.

When using the Ohio Arts Council logo in print and electronic materials, please ensure it is legible and proportionate to other logos. If you need a stacked version of the logo to meet these requirements, contact communications@oac.ohio.gov.

SUSTAINABILITY-LARGE GRANTEES: The largest 40 organizations that receive Sustainability funding are considered "Sustainability-Large" grantees. This set of grantees must do the following:

  • Sustainability-Large organizations that print event programs and receive $50,000 or more in total OAC funding in any fiscal year must provide one full-page of advertising space to the OAC in all season programs. The OAC will provide camera-ready art.
  • Sustainability-Large organizations that print event programs and receive less than $50,000 in total OAC funding in any fiscal year must provide one half-page of advertising space in all season programs. The OAC will provide camera-ready art.

SUSTAINABILITY-MID-SIZED GRANTEES: Sustainability grantees who fall outside the largest 40 organizations are considered "Sustainability-Mid-Sized" grantees. While not required to place an OAC ad, these organizations may request a camera-ready ad from the OAC to use in their programs to show their support.

Logo Use for Individual Grantees
